How the courses are delivered:
An Apprenticeship is a real job with training, so in order to become an Apprentice you will need to be successful in getting a job with an employer. When you apply to us, we will match you to suitable vacancies, i.e. jobs with employers who are local to you and that meet your interests. We will talk to you about the different vacancies available and ask whether you want to be put forward for a job interview. If you are successful at interview, you will start your job and be signed up to your Apprenticeship.
Unlike other training providers, our Apprenticeships, have no day release to college, meaning you will get the most from your ‘on the job’ experience. You’ll receive real-life training from experienced staff within your workplace and be visited regularly, either face-to-face or virtually, by a specialist NLTG Tutor. Your Tutor will support and guide you throughout your Apprenticeship, making sure you develop the skills needed for your job role. As part of your Apprenticeship, you will need to complete a maths and/or English qualification if you do not already hold these qualifications; the level at which you will study will depend upon your Apprenticeship. Your NLTG Tutor will provide you with support and guidance.
